Toyota Repair: 20r block with f/i 22re head and injection, lexus v8, v8 swaps

Question
I have a 1988 Toy p/u that was a two wheel drive stock 20r. i have recently coverted it to a 4wheel drive F/I truck.
4 link suspension front and rear. appears completely stock.
trying to keep stock appearance. trying to find out what kind of performance i should expect if i were to put the fuel injected 22re head and injection on the 20r block.  also i need to know if there are any additional modifications that need to be done to the engine. i am a ase cert mas tech for a ford dealer in oregon. avid toy enthusiast and off roader.  technical info is ok. i will understand explanation. thanks

Answer
In all honesty. If you really like the truck, I'd save up money for a 3rz-fe, or drop any of Toyota's v6's in there. Even the weakest Japanese only 2.0L toyota/yamaha v6 still made 143hp. Most of them make around 200hp / 200-220ft-lbs.
You can do 7m-gte swaps. Toyota/Lexus v8 swaps have been done afew times that I know of also!

Someplace like www.yotatech.com would be a great forum for you to join, or http://www.pirate4x4.com/ has afew of the same members tooling on it also. You'll find people alot more into hybrid engines / engine swaps that I know off-hand about them.
