Toyota Repair: Toyoto Tundra check engine light, o2 sensors, warranty program

Pls tell me more about the extended warranty re: this problem. I paid $600 for the repair of the O2 sensor @ 65,000 mi, now they tell me it is a defective gas cap! Thanks

Toyota had issued an enhanced warranty for the O2 sensors which is good for 8yrs/90,000 miles,have the dealer check for this and if necessary contact the toyota customer service department at the 800 number,you are entitled to a refund of the O2 sensor replacement. At this mileage the warranty actually covers both O2 sensors, both of them should be replaced at no charge under the enhanced warranty program. Not sure why they found a problem with the gas cap, need to know the DTCs stored in the computer?
