question #2 when i drive my tercel if i drive a long distance (from one city to the next) if i shut off my car i wont be able to start it until up to two hours later then it will start again do you know the problem

The most likely cause is that the combination switch on the steering column is the cause of the problem, try replacing it, check all fuses first under the hood and on the inside fuse panel. Need to know what year and if
EFI or carburated.

Answer
The steering wheel has to be removed, it may reqiure a puller, the combination switch is located directly underneath, the wires from the switch connect to a connector on the lower part of the steering column so the plastic covers around the steering column also need to be removed.
some of the autoparts stores have manuals but are not very accurate, the manual from the dealers are very expensive, it may be more cost effective to just have someone diagnose this for you and then go from there, without actually doing some electrical diagnosis I'm just taking an educated guess and I would hate to see you spend a lot of money on the combination switch and it may not be the problem, it could very well be an electrical wiring problem. The bottom line is that you may spend more money on a manual than it would cost to have someone that has access to the car diagnose it and then you could still do the repair needed yourself.
