Toyota Repair: front brake rotor replacement on a 4wd 1987 toyota van, brake rotor replacement, allen head screws

Question
van has the automatic locking hubs on front(you push button on dash when you want 4wd...to release, push button again and back up about 10 feet) my rotor is cracked so I need to replace it, my manual says remove wheel, remove caliper and caliper mount, REMOVE AUTOMATIC LOCKING HUB, remove rotor and hub together in one piece ,remove bolts swap rotor....how do I remove the locking hub so I can pull hub/rotor assy from axle?I removed the cover held on with 6 allen head screws, removed bolt and washer from center down inside hub and also a  flat snap ring located right below cover ...still nothing want to come off...what do I need to do next ?

Answer
I hate you.
LoL! I kid.

It's not complicated, it just takes going through it once to get it. You did good by getting the bolt & washers, allen screws, washer & large bolt out of the center. What you're missing is three torx bolts. #20 torx if I remember my 80's Auto-locking Asian-warner hubs right.
You should be able to take it from there.

Be real careful with those 4wd hubs. *Never* engage that thing when the vehicle is moving, and don't drive any major distance in 4wd. Especially if it involves much turning.

They're not known for the greatest reliability, but in their defence. 90% of the people that have ever broken one broke one due to user-error. :)
