Toyota Repair: Service engine ,VSC, and Trac off lights on, emission control system, 2005 toyota camry

Question
I have the following 3 lights on: Trac off, VSC, Service Engine. I went to the local Auto Zone to have it scanned and the scan code read P0442 and said EVAP emissions control leak (small). I have a 2005 Toyota Camry. I checked the gas cap and it seemed fine. What else can I do or must I take it to the Dealer which is 50 mile away from where I live. Is this something I can fix myself? Do you think maybe it would still be covered under the emissions warranty? If so, then I would take it to the dealer. Please help me. The car has 54000 miles on it. Thanks for your help in advanced.

Answer
The evap emission control system is a very complicated system to diagnose, especially finding a small leak, the only answer I have for you that you could try yourself is to just replace the gas cap and remove the EFI fuse for a few seconds to see if the light goes out and then see if it comes back on.  The emission control warranty is in effect for 3yrs/50,000 miles.  The trac off/VSC lights are on because of the check engine light because those systems are disabled when the check engine light comes on. If replacing the gas cap doesn't help you should take it to the dealer to have it diagnosed.
