Toyota Repair: Rough Idle, 7afe, exact problem

Ive noticed in the past month that when starting cold theres a very rough/vibrating idle. Once warmed up it goes away (mostly). It always ran like a top before this. Its a '96 corolla 7AFE engine with 170K/auto tran.
Also, the check engine light has been coming on and off for about 3 months now (usually stays on a day or 2 then goes off for a varied amount of time).


You stated to find out if engine is misfiring and our that the engine mount is bad, before changing o2 sensor? Did you ever get feedback about whether your suggestion worked? How much should it cost to repalce engine mount or to fix "misfiring"?

No, I don't recall whether it fixed the problem or not, I would recommend having the trouble code diagnosed that causes the engine light to come on, even though the light goes off there is a code stored in the computer, let me know what the codes are and I may be able to be of some more help.
