Toyota Repair: 1998 Camry Gas Peddle Sticks Slightly, throttle plate, autoparts store

Question
I have a 1998 Camry, with about 100,000 miles on it. When I stop and it is idling, then when I step on the accelerator again there is a slight indent (extra pressure)required to get it to move. I had this happen before and the mechanic fixed it by cleaning the throttle plate. I would like to this myself this time, but don't know how to go about it.

Answer
Get a can of throttle body cleaner and a small wire brush at the autoparts store, remove the large rubber intake air hose from the throttle body, move it out of the way, block the throttle plate open, spray the inside of the throttle body and use the brush to scrub the inside of the throttle body and the plate, after cleaning it may be hard to start, push the gas pedal about half way open to let some air in and it will start up and the misfire will clear up.
