Toyota Repair: Re: TOYOTA Corolla SECA 1994, toyota corolla, turbo timers

Question
Hi,
I just replaced a brand new battery in my Corolla.
It started fine after I replaced it. I drove it for about 20 minutes, then parked it overnight.

The next day the battery was flat.
What could be draining the battery?

Any helps would be appreciated,

Regards,

John

Answer
Normally. Improperly installed aftermarket electronics.
For example:
Aftermarket Head Unit (radios), amplifiers, alarm systems, "turbo timers"(a device used to let the engine idle after you stop the engine for a set amount of time to let the engine cool off).

Test the alternater also. If it's not outputting enouhg to charge the battery. You simply run off the battery until it's completely flat.
