Toyota Repair: Check engine light, vacuum hose, exact problem

Question
I have the Check engine light and the VSC light coming on at the same time.  This happened before and the repair receipt stated "reconnect ccv hose to the air box" and a charge of $110.00.  Is this something I can do myself or do I need to take it to the dealer?

Answer
In that case, it was just re-attaching a vacuum hose to the main air intake & cleaering the code.

I would go to Autozone (or some parts store) & have them scan you for codes. That way you know the exact problem areas that the computer sees right now. It's normally free & takes seconds to pull them. Come back, or look them up online (Or download the actual factory service manual), and the general problem areas/testing/replacing is known.
