Toyota Repair: 2001 Toyota Tundra Transmission, toyota tundra, rear brakes

Question
I recently purchased a used 2001 Toyota Tundra. The truck is an automatic with the Toyota 4.7 liter iForce V8. After driving the truck for a few weeks, I noticed that sometimes when braking, just before the truck comes to a complete stop, it will lurch forward ever so slightly and the transmission will make a slight "thud" sound. You can feel the transmission kick the truck forward slightly just before arriving at a complete stop. It was hardly noticeable at first, but I'm learning that the effect varies depending on how the brakes are applied when slowing to a stop. The transmission fluid looks fine. The truck shifts fine and otherwise runs and drives great. It's almost like the transmission is not disengaging properly when the truck is slowing. The truck does not idle high, but it will take off in drive without acceleration after the brake is released. Are there any adjustments that can be made to resolve this? Does it sound like a transmission problem?

Answer
Its either chasis torgue.
A conduition that Toyota is aware of and seeking a fix.
Some models are getting new rear drive shafts and control arms under a recall.
or the rear brakes are covered in gear oil from a leaking axle seal.
Check the back of the rim and backing plate with a flashlight and check for for gear oil.
