Toyota Repair: Power steering noise, high pressure hose, genuine toyota parts

Question
1994 Toyota pickup, 5 spd, 156,000k, 22re, 2wd, no abs.  The power steering high pressure hose started leaking and I replaced with aftermarket part.  I always try to use genuine toyota parts but this particular Toyota part was incredibly, outrageously, and unbelievably expensive (over $500).

Power steering did not make noise prior to replacing hose but does now even though I followed the procedure for bleeding system in Haynes manual.  Every Couple of days I jack the car up and turn the wheels lock to lock to try to get any air out that might still be in the system. It's been three weeks and it still makes noise. Any suggstions would be helpful.

Answer
It's a possibility that the oil pickup screen in the bottom of the power steering reservoir is clogged up, this will cause not enough fluid to get to the steering gear and cause this noise because air is getting in, you can remove the reservoir and clean the screen on the bottom or punch a hole in it with a long screwdriver, it's you decision but it should solve the problem.
