Question -
2000 Toyota Corolla VE Sedan 4D,4-Cyl 1.8 Liter Engine, Automatic Transmission
At 62799 the 60000 miles maintenance was done by the dealer's technician and 4 qts of MOTOR oil were included in the invoice! All other recomended maintenance has been timely done. I was hearing a noise, but on a road test with the technician it did not happen and nothing wrong was noticed during this service. ±4000 miles after that, the noise continued and while checking, the MOTOR oil level was found almost empty.Again the motor oil was added, but now, with 69000 miles the level is empty and the noise continues.
No oil drops have ever been seen on the garage, nor are any signs of leakage on the motor.
During the last year the car is seldom used; mostly for short distances.

Answer -
Did you but it new?
If its not leaking, its burning it.
It may be sludgged up on the inside from lack of oil changes. The oil gets caught in the valve cover and it gets sucked up the pcv valve.

Mike

Yes, I have been the only owner.  Lack of oil changes is certainly not the reason, since all oil changes has been done on a timely basis; say 3000-5000 miles. (Unless I was fooled by the dealer!)

Answer
Then we can assume that its not sludge.

You may have another internal problem thats making it burn oil.
Fill to the full mark and drive 100 miles and check again. Get a good reading so you know exactly how fast its using oil.

(example-1/2 qt every 100 miles,2 qts every 100 miles,etc.)

Then I would contact Toyota at the 800 number in the back of the owners manual and ask for assistance.
DONT be afraid to voice your displeasure with your problem. The more upset and angry your are, respectfully, the more youll get out of Toyota. Its a Public Relations thing.
Thats the best thing, I think to do from where  you are now.May cost you some money, but it will be done right and you can move on and enjoy life!
