Toyota Repair: No brake lights Fuse?, brake light switch, assm

Question
I just replaced my L/S tail light assm. on my 96
LE wagon.. every thing lights , But i do no have tail Brake lights on both sides,
I plugged in the new harness the assmbly came with and the old harness.. same thing .. Every light but my brake lights,,, Is there a fuses?
I cant seem to locate one

You may have a bad brake light switch.
Check that first.
Its on the brake pedal under the dash. just an on off switch.


There is a fuse. Its labeled "stop" Check the owners manual.
Its either under the hood on in that fuse box or under the left side of the dash.
