Toyota Repair: compression problem, toyota 4wd, 4wd pickup

Question
I was looking to purchase a used 1990 toyota 4wd pickup with 177,000 miles. I had a compression test done and cylinder 2 was only at 75psi dry and 125 psi wet. Alll other cylinder were in range of 135-140psi. I have been told everything from a bad ring, to bad valve, to just possible a dirty engine and a carbon buildup problem. Truck has passed emisions and never smokes. Not even when it is cold. Head gasket v06 recall service performed in 2002. I have driven the truck and it idles smooth and runs well. Want to buy it, but don't want a lemon. PLease help! Thank you sooooo much

Answer
If  the compression rises to normal on a wet test,as you derscibe, it is most likely bad rings.
Putting oil in a cyl for a wet test wont change the reading if the valve(s) are burnt.
Carbon build up would decrease the displacement of the cylinder and actually raise the compression.
