Toyota Repair: Toyota Camry SE door lock problems followed by apparent engine, toyota camry, dead silence

Question
Hi,
I have this 2002 Camry SE that started exhibiting problems over a year ago where one and sometimes 2 of the doors would not respond to keyless opening or closing.  Took the car in to a dealership while it was still under warranty last year; but I was informed that they could not reproduce the problem.  However, the problem persisted with variations between 1 or 2 of the doors.  Finally 3 weeks ago, I took the car back in when only 1 door would respond to both the keyless and push button mechanisms.  By then, the warranty no longer applied and it cost me over $225 for them to dismantle the doors and diagnose that all 3 door locks had to be replaced at a cost of nearly $1500 (which I declined to do).  Now, coming back from a 2-week vacation my car seems as dead as a door nail (don't know if something was messed up during the diagnostic work).  I went to use it and turned the key to start the engine and there was complete, dead silence.  There wasn't even the slightest hint of life to indicate either a battery and transmission problem.  Now, there is no response whatsover to the keyless mechanism; the one door that used to respond no longer does, and the trunk that had never exhibited any problems will not open via remote entry either, and of course none of the lights come on.
The only thing that happens is that you can use the key to open the keyed entries.  The car seems to be as good as dead and I dread the cost of the repairs.  I wonder if there is a way to make Toyota accountable especially since I originally took the car in while it was still under warranty though they told me they were not able to reproduce the problem.  Please let me know what you think.  I will be trying to have the car towed to a dealership tomorrow so I may hopefully have the problem resolved before going back to work on Monday.  But it really irks me to think that I may pay thousands of dollars to pay for a defect that should have been fixed a year ago.

Thank you in advance.

Answer
I have no idea at this time, this is kind of complicated and there could be many causes for this, let me know what the toyota dealer recommends. As far as I know the warranty should still be in effect as long as the original complaint was within the warranty period.
