Toyota Repair: 96 Toyota Camry window problem, toyota camry, salvage yard

Question
I have been tyring to isolate the problem with the rear (drivers side) window motor or switchon my wife's Camry.  Rear window is stuck down and won't raise. Regualtor and wires look ok.   Motor turns when back switch is pressed down but won't go up.  I notice master switch does not get any movement on motor when rear switch is pressed down or pulled in the up mode.  Looks to me like circuit is broken and may be in the master switch.  What is the best way to find out short of buying a new master switch?  I have a small 12 volt circuit tester and can easily remove the door panel to check.

Are there any other ways to iolate the problem?

Answer
About 90% of the time the master switch is the problem, the other 10% is usually caused by a wiring problem, to save a lot of time I would recommend replacing the master switch, checking the master switch with a VOM is very time consuming but it can be done and if you request I can send you the instructions, you can probably pick up a used switch from a salvage yard for less than half the price of a new one.
