Toyota Repair: cabin air filter replacement, cabin air filter, filter tray

Hi Mike,,, just got back from repair place and they were going to charge me an additional 90 dollars to replace this 14 dollar item,,, can i do this myself and if so,, can you tell me how? thanks,, i have a 2005 Corolla.

Wow, I'll tell ya how to do it and you can send me the cash. HAHA, just kidding.

Several screws in the top of the glove box area by the latch. one or two 10 mm bolts at the bottom of the dash.

you can pull down the glove box and lower dash panel together. Then there will be a plastic plate that covers the Cabin air filter tray
tabs on the side, pops right out.
You can do it!
