Toyota Repair: 1987 Toyota $ runner threw a serpentine belt, crankshaft pulley, toyota runner

Question
My baby threw the belt that runs the altenator /water pump(serpentine belt)-she overheated but got me and my 5 kids home-now -we replaced the belt and added water( she lost almost all the water in her) of course battery was dead-got a new battery and now she has power but when you try to crank her you get a weird wail from under her efi-no clicking like a starter problem-no trying to crank either-my friend cut a belt he suppossed to be the a/c belt-I am wondering if it was the cam belt--or worst case she locked up--I dont want to butcher my baby for parts-Please help!!!!!

Answer
It is possible that the belt came off because the water pump seized, with the belt off are you able to rotate the water pump pulley?
See if the engine can be rotated by hand with a wrench attached to the front of the crankshaft pulley, if it can be turned over by hand the engine is not seized.
