Toyota Repair: 2005 Scion Xb Rough Idle when I gear, excessive vibration, scion xb

Question
I have a 2005 Scion Xb with a auto trans.  The problem is the air box vibrates a lot when in gear stopped and can easly be heard in the cabin.  Would slight raising the idle cure this situation, or is there something else wrong. I have 14,857 miles and the problem has been there since I bought it with 9400 miles.

Thanks,
Jim Smith

Answer
The idle is not adjustable. The vibration is caused by a motor mount that is not insulating the vibration from the engine, have the car checked to make sure it was not involved in an accident before you bought it, this is the problem in most cases of excessive vibration, have the toyota dealer check it and if it has not been in an accident it may help to replace the motor mount on the front of the engine, this should still be covered under the 3/36,000 mile warranty.
