Toyota Repair: Cant get transmission out of park (auto Trans), toyota dolphin, linkage problem

Question
I have a 1992 Toyota Dolphin Motorhome (22'). V-6 automatic with o/d and cruise control. It has around 72,000 miles.
It is stuck in park. I have verified that the brake lights work, brake fluid is full and all the fuses are good.
I have taken the covers off of the steering column and the gearshift lever. I can not see anything to unplug or to push in to release anything to get it out of park.  I need to drive it to get it smogged and licensed.
The dealer wants me to bring it in to fix it or have it towed (Big lol on that one). I can't get it out of park.
Anything you could help with would be very much appreciated.
Thank you -----------

Answer
I dont remember when they started with shift locks.
If yours has one the there should be a small piece that pops out of the column cover to grant access to the shift lever release.underneath on the right.

Unless you have some linkage problem. Thats one someone would have to see.Not much I can do from here.

WWW.techinfo.toyota.com can give you access to repair manuals.
