Toyota Repair: 1989 Toyota Supras (turbo), blown head gasket, toyota supra

Question
I have an 89 toyota supra that is now down 3 motors.  Every motor has been basically destroyed by an overheating problem which ultimately always leads to a blown head gasket.  I love this car better than any car on the earth, but I am hestitant to go for motor #4 until I can receive some advice on how to handle this.  Every supra 1986-1991 that I see or read about, has a blown head gasket issue, and I was wondering if you know whether or not they ever did a recall on the head gasket for this particular year and model.  I don't know whether to buy a rebuilt engine and if so, do you have any suggestions as to where I might look for or purchase one?  Or do I rebuild my current motor completely?  If so do you know of any reputable mechanics in the san diego, CA area that might perform such an operation?  Or do I part the car out and go for a different car?  Please if you could lend me your expertise advice, I would be most appreciative.
Thanks

Answer
Ive never considered them to have headgasket "problems".
If you run them high miles they may pop a gasket, but havent seen them all do it.
Your call to spend more money on it.
Look into a JDM motor from japan.
Im on the east coast, so cant help with Cali. tech question
