Toyota Repair: Battery Coldcrank problem, toyota corolla, toyota dealer

Question
Hi Mike I have a 1992 Toyota Corolla with 59,000 miles. I recently noticed that in the morning there is a click before the engine kicks over and thought it was a coldcrank problem. I replaced the battery with 2 different batteries from Kragen and still the same problem. I finally went to a Toyota dealer and got a genuine Toyota battery. It was fine for about week then it started clicking again before it starts in the morning. After I drive it for about a half hour there is no problem starting the engine ( no clicks). It happens only in the morning. I changed the starter about 2 months ago. I am going crazy with this. Help!
Thanks Mike

Answer
Its the contacts in the starter.
You can get a kit to rebuild it at the dealer. Easy to do. Just look at the parts you get. They are brass terminals that wear out. The starter you put in was probably just cleaned and checked if it was not a Toyota starter.
