hi mike
i got a 98 sienna van. the driver's side window went down and now won't go back up. had similar problem before - widow would go up in increments only but got that repaired from dealer thru warranty.  is there a way to manually get the window up till i can get it fixed?  passenger side window works fine and power locks work fine.
thanks much in advance.

Unfortunately you can't manually put it up.
Not much else to do with it except clear plastic taped over the doorframe untill you can get it fixed.
Do you plan to fix it?

Mike

do you think its something i can attempt?  i took the door panel off already and was poking around back there.  was trying to push that gear looking thing but it didn't move.  also tried to lift the bottom of the glass but that didn't work either.  could it be as easy as changing a fuse?  what would you rate trying to change the motor and or regulator[?]

thanks again and appreciate the quick help!

Answer
First see if its just the switch.
Pull the plug out of the window motor and substitute a test light. If the light lights up in the  up and down of the switch then its the motor.
If it is the motor, then unbolt the glass and push it up.
Put packing tape down the glass over the top of the door and down the other side of the glass. That will hold the glass up
Then you can remove the regulator and replace it or the motor, whichever is defective.
