Toyota Repair: Power Window Failure, window switch, swith

Question
I have a 1994 Camry SE. Recently, the driver side power window failed; I heard something metallic drop inside the door and it suddenly stopped working. The window now drops and does not close unless I lift it and prop it up by placing an object between the window and door (ugh!)

I dread going to the dealership with this problem. Is there an easy way to diagnose and fix this problem on my own?  I notice that you advised someone else to remove the door panel.  How is this done?

Answer
The window regulator either broke or the piece that attatches it to the glass came off the glass.
Under the window switch is a crew,CAREFULLY  pry up the window swith bezel, another screw under the door pull.Pull up the plastic oval piece in the handle.
3 screws at the bottom of the door panel depending on the model.
Youll have to take the panel off, carefully peel back the vapor barrior{plastic sheet} and see what came apart.
Not nec. to go to a dealer. A good repair shop should have no trouble should you go that route.
