need to how to put serpentine belt back on 2001 toyota carolla

On the hood or the radiator support there should be a diagram of the belt positioning.
There is a tensioner that looks like a small shock absorber on the front of the motor (r/s)toward the firewall. It has a 17 0r 19 mm boss on it. with a long handle ratchet swing the tensioner inward and fit the belt. Then let it slide back to tension the belt.
Be carfull - if you slip off the boss the tensioner will snap back.
