1999 toyota avalon exhaust catalytic convertor - The shield is falling, can I replace it?

Call the local dealer parts dept.
You probably cant get it at an outside supplier. Some vehiles can be replaced, if it bolts together with a 2 piece cover.If its welded to the Cat. you may need to get it welded. A muffler shop would be cost effective. The shield doesnt affect the opperation of the cat. It just protects you from lighting leaves, debris, etc on fire from contacting it under the car.
