Hello Ted, I followed your advise how to disarm 2000 4cyl. 4X4 Tacoma alarm. I have 1999 Tacoma. It worked fine until I stopped the truck and turned off the ignition. I left the truck, and when I came back and opened the door, the alarm went on again. How do I fix this permanently?

Unless there is a remote control for this system it can't be disabled, the solution in that case is to remove the alarm system completely and deposit it in the trash, any automotive alarm company can do this then if you wish a new alarm system can be installed.
