Toyota Repair: 1995 Celica Oscillation Problem, cv joints, toyota celica

Question
Hi,

I own a 1995 manual 2.2L Toyota Celica.  I bought the car second hand and it has done 160K kms.
When I am accellerating (hard or lightly) and I take my foot off the gas pedal, or when I'm decellerating (without braking) and I put my foot on the gas, the car oscillates a lot before settling down.  I've very recently had a large service done (replacement of all fluids, flush of injectors) and the problem hasn't gone away.

Do you have any suggestions of things it could be?

Any help much appreciated,

Cheers,
James.

Answer
Possibly one or both of the front wheel drive axle shafts is worn, another cause could be a tire that has a problem like tread seperation but in that case the problem would be there under no load condition, since the problem seems worse under acceleration I would check the axles on the inboard CV joints for exessive wear.
