Toyota Repair: 93 camary alarm, negative battery cable, keyless remotes

Question
I have a 93 camary when i opened the car door with my key ( keyless remotes dont work) the alarm began ringing,I then tried to start the car and got nothing not even a click.It seems theres some kind of ignition cut off switch. Can you tell me how to fix this problem? tks.

Without knowing what alarm system the car has(factory/aftermarket or both) try doing this:
open the driver's door
disconnect the negative battery cable
insert the key into the ignition and turn to the ON position
reconnect the battery
close the door and try to start it
if that doesn't work let me know what alarm system it is and does it have the factory keyless entry system and by the way, check the battery in the remote.
