Toyota Repair: 2000 camery LE 3.0 V-6, haynes manual, camery

Question
I changed the fluid in the transmission following the directions in my Haynes manual but as I read forward about the differential the book shows a fill and drain plug. I found the drain plug no problem but I can not find the fill. I pulled the tire, broke out my mirror and draged out the wife to get another set of eyes on it but I still can not find it.The spot the book shows is driver side next to where the shaft exits the differential. Is my book wrong or do I need to look harder? Thanks

Answer
The transmission and the differential use the same fluid, it is not necessary to drain the differential seperately, there is no fill plug, just fill the transmission to the correct level and the differential will fill up at the same time. On some transmissions there may be a fill plug but it is not used.
