Toyota Repair: 92 previa rear wheel drive only, broken studs, wheel studs

Question
I have to replace the rear wheel studs on my lx with disc brakes. How difficult of a task is this or should I just have a shop do this for me.

Answer
It's not real difficult but you will need some tools, the brake caliper has to be removed and the disc pulled off, then the broken studs can be hammered out, the new studs are a little difficult to get in without an airtool(impact wrench) what we normally do is insert the stud and then put a spacer on it and a lug nut and pull it through with the impact wrench until it is all the way in, this is not possible just using hand tools unless you want to remove the axle shaft so that the studs can be hammered in from behind.
