Toyota Repair: 1995 Corolla - Timing Belt / Oil Leak, timing belt replacement, toyota dealer

Question
I recently had the timing belt replaced in my 1995 Corolla 1.6. It developed a leak at the valve gasket and the shop replaced it at no charge. I am still seeing drops of oil underneath my car. What do you think is leaking and more importantly how can I be sure that it was caused by something related to the replacement of the timing belt? I'd like to take the car to a Toyota dealer but if the leak is caused by the timing belt replacement and I can have it fixed at no charge I'll take it back to the repair shop one more time.

Answer
You can't be absolutely sure if replacing the timing belt caused the oil leak but if there was no oil leak before it's possible that replacing the belt caused a seal to leak, were the front crank seal and the camshaft front seal replaced? If not, they may be the cause of the leak, sometimes replacing the timing belt can cause old and marginal seals to start leaking, this doesn't mean the belt was not installed correctly but they should have recommended replacing those seals while the belt was off, I would take it back there and have them check for that.
