Toyota Repair: 2005 Scion XA dash rattle/clicking sound, scion xa, toyota dealer

My 2005 Scion XA has acquired an obnoxious dash rattle (or clicking sound) that the Toyota dealer was unable to properly diagnose and fix.  It started soon after I had work done on the A/C (due to poor A/C performance.)  The work was under TSB #AC006-04, and it did improve the air conditioner performance.  I was told nothing would be done inside of the dash, and maybe it wasn't, but the timing of the dash sound is very coincidental.  Was any work done inside of the dash for this TSB service work?  What was done? The sound seems to come from vicinity of where the dash meets the windshield, and it could be from the vicinity of the dash top vent. Your feedback is appreciated.

I have looked at this bulletin and there are components that need to be removed from the inside so I suspect that this repair created the noise, I will send you a copy of the TSB if you can give me an email address.
