Toyota Repair: 1990 camry 2.5L coolant leak, coolant leak, blown headgasket

Question
i have a 1990 camry w/ 2.5L 24V 4CAM. coolant is leaking somewhere maybe near thermstat housing but doesnt seem to be that. coolant runs down and drips from oil pan. just cant seem to pinpoint where the leak is. where exactly is the water pump to check it. this just all of a sudden started and overheats. any help at all would be GREATTT!! thank-you                                                                     GARY

Answer
The water pump is located on the front of the engine below the alternator as is the thermostat, the best way to pinpoint the leak is to pressurize the cooling system and see where the leak is coming from, water pump leaks are very common so I kind of think this is where the leak is.
Don't drive the car and let it overheat because there may be engine damage and possibly a blown headgasket as a result.
