Toyota Repair: 1987 Celica vacuum diagram/hot start prob, 1987 celica gts, air flow meter

Question
Hi, I was wondering if  you would know where I can find a copy of the vacuum line diagram for a 1987 Celica GTS with the 3SGE motor.

I'm also curious to know if you are aware of a common cause for a hot start problem. Vehicle is tough to start (kind of acts flooded) after sitting for about 20 minutes (even in cool weather), but starts great immediately after you turn it off or if you let it sit for an hour or so. Once it does start during the 20 min "trouble" window, it runs rough for a few seconds, until the plugs clear out...or at least that's how it acts. No codes in the computer and the fuel pressure seems to be within spec. The distributor, injectors, and air flow meter have been replaced with known good units, so we can assume they are not the cause. Also, on very hot days in heavy traffic, the car acts likes it is vapor locking...engine stumbles when pulling away from a stop light. Could it be the fuel pump or would you suggest something else? I'm not terribly confident in the person who checked the fuel pressure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! Tim

Answer
Check to see if the thermostat is working normally, does the engine come up to operating temperature like it's supposed to?
If that's OK try replacing the cold start injector time switch, it's located on the thermostat housing, it's the largest switch on there so it should be easy to locate, these used to be a common cause for starting problems but once the engine is running it should turn the cold start injector off, so there are actually two possible problems, the time switch or the cold start injector may not be closing and leaking fuel into the intake manifold after warm up. You can remove the cold start injector and check it, there should be fuel spray from the injector only while the engine is cranking, make sure the distributor connector is disconnected so the engine can't fire up while doing this test, make sure there is no spark anywhere when doing this to prevent a possible fire hazard.
The injector should not leak after cranking and the key in the on position.
If you need a vacuum diagram I may be able to locate one and make a copy but I will need your email address.
