Toyota Repair: 1994 Camry v6 transmission oil change, transmission oil change, camry v6

Question
I just bought a 94 camry V6 with 160k on it. The auto transmission changes with a jerk when it changes from one gear to the other and it is more obvious when i slow down and it downshifts. I do not know the past maintenance of the car. I took it to the local toyota dealer and they suggested that I do nothing about it, as I might have to change the whole tranny. I would like to know if a flush or a regular change of oil would help? One of the local transmission shop said that the flush would help along with 'adjusting' the transmission. I am not sure what I should do. Thanks a bunch Mr Ritter for the time you take out for this wonderful service.

Answer
There is nothing to adjust on the transmission exept for the throttle pressure cable, there may be a major problem developing, the only thing I can suggest is to have the toyota dealer change the fluid and have them check the throttle pressure cable to see if the adjustment is correct, other than that you are probably looking at a transmission replacement.
