Toyota Repair: 2000 Camry Heat/AC fan, ac ducting, toyota camry

Hi Ted,
My 2000 Toyota Camry LE V6 just started having a problem. When I turn on the heat or the AC, the fan only works on low and high. Works great on low and high, but nothing at all in the middle. Any ideas? Easy fix for a guy willing to try? Thanks.

The most common cause is that the resistor far the fan motor has burned out segments, try replacing the resistor, it's located behind the glove compartment or underneath, in any case it is on the heater/AC ducting, if your'e going to do this yourself buy the new resistor from the dealer first so you'll know what it looks like, there are just two small screws connecting it and it's fairly easy to replace.
