Ted,Good morning. I just saw one of your emails concerning a 98 Sienna that won't start. I'm having the same issue. 98 Sienna: the key will only turn about 1/8". It will not go to the ACC position and it looks like the cylinder is pushing in too far (about 1/8") when the key goes in. Checked all the obvious simple solutions, but this seems to be the cylinder. The van is in a Kroger parking lot right now - is it possible to have someone come out to fix it, on site?  Thanks!

I guess that's possible but it will be the most expensive way to fix this, locksmiths are not cheap.
The best advise I can give to you is to have it towed to the nearest toyota dealer(use AAA if you're a member)and then let the dealer handle it, either way it's about a $260-300 repair.
