Toyota Repair: Fan Clutch Assembly, fan clutch, clutch assembly

I think I know why my 4runner is over heating. I noticed when I turn my engine off my fan still rotates several revolutions before stopping. I am told this is a fan clutch gone bad. How difficult is this to replace? What all does this job entail? Thanks for any information--Jim

This is normal, the overheating is probably due to another problem.
Before I can make any more comments or suggestions I need to know the past repair history or any attempts that were already made to cure this problem, does the engine overheat at highway driving or in stop and go traffic or at prolonged idle?
