How do I remove the antenna motor so I can remove the broken antenna teeth?

Answer
The inner fender liner has to be removed, it's held on with some clips and some 10mm screws, you don't have to completely remove it just peel it back enough to get to the antenna motor, there is a 10mm bolt holding on to a bracket, the antenna lead does not come off so you will need to pull it out far enough to disassemble the motor and remove the broken piece after that reassemble it and install it back in the fender, then turn the key on and the radio on and wait for the motor to stop, once it stops turn the radio off and the motor will retract, at that time feed the new antenna cable into the opening until the gear grabs it and pulls it in.
