Toyota Repair: Correct A/C pressures, 2003 toyota 4runner, toyota 4runner

Question
What are the correct low and high A/C pressures for a 2003 Toyota 4Runner with a V-6 engine.  I know it depends on the outside temp. but have not been able to locate any tables on what the correct pressure ranges should be.
Thanks

Answer
With the compressor running the LO pressure should be between 28-40 psi/ the HI side should be between 125-160psi on the gauges and you are correct temperatures have a direct effect, if it's very hot the readings can be higher than is normal, if there is an extreme vatiation there is a problem, for instance if the hi pressure goes above 250 or the low pressure goes above 55 psi. Pressures that are too low indicate that there is not enough freon in the system and there is a leak and there is air in the system.
