Toyota Repair: Toyota problem, air intake hose, air leaks

Question
I have a 1994 Toyota  Corolla and it bucks a lot. It is worse when the engine is cold. I have replaces the plugs, wires, cap and rotor and the problem is still there. Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks is advance,
Bob

Answer
There are two things that need to be checked, make sure there are no intake system air leaks, especially the large air intake hose from the air filter to the throttle body, check it for cracks very carefully.
Another area to check is the coil inside the distributor, they have a tendency to crack or develop leaks and arc through to ground.
