Toyota Repair: Leaking oil pan, 1992 toyota tercel, toyota tercel

Question
The oil pan on my 1992 Toyota Tercel has a small leak around the seal.  This pan uses a sealing compound instead of a gasket.  My mechanic (not at a Toyota dealer) has tried twice to re-seal it but it still leaks a little.  Is this something that only an experienced Toyota mechanic using a special Toyota sealant should attempt?

Answer
Check to make sure that the front crankshaft seal inside the timing cover or the rear main seal is not leaking, the best way to pinpoint a leak that is difficult to find is to add a flourescent dye to the oil and drive the car for about 200 miles and then check the leak with an UV light, try to find a dealer or repair shop that knows what I'm talking about.
