Toyota Repair: 4runner dash removal, toyota 4runner, control knobs

can you tell me how to remove the dashboard from a 2001 toyota 4runner sr5 sport?  i am trying to put in a ipod2car and need to get behind the radio to hook up one small simple little cord and i am afraid that i am going to break my dash.  any help is appriciated.  thanks you.

To get behind the radio you will need to remove the cover surrounding the radio, you may have to pull off the vent control knobs, there may be screws under there, look for a couple of screws on the vents, the rest of the panel can be pried off, there are clips holding it on, after that you can see the four bolts attching the radio, remove them and pull the radio out to get to the wiring.
