Toyota Repair: CV axels 1996 Camry LE, prybar, snap ring

I have done CV axels before with no problem.  I can not get them out of my 1996 Camry LE 4cylinder.  I've used a puller and a prybar.  The only thing I can see that is holding it is the snap-ring at the end of the axel.  I would appreciate any help you can give me.

Some of these axles can be very hard to dislodge out of the transmission but the only way is to pry them out with prybars, try using two prybars and apply pressure evenly on each side, the snap ring does not hold the axle in, try rotating the axle to different positions eventually it will pop out of the transmission.
