Toyota Repair: 1989 Toyota Celica start problem, toyota celica, 1989 toyota celica

Question
You replied to my problem regarding my '89 Toyota Celica and suggested we replace the cold start injector time switch.  We were able to get this at Toyota and did replace it but the problem has not been solved.  When we shut the car off and try to restart it immediately or shortly after it will not start until it cools down or we pour water over the starter motor.  You said if the injector time switch didn't help to let you know... any other suggestions?  Thank you for your quick response and we do appreicate your  time and knowledge.

Answer
This is kind of unusual, the part about pouring water on the starter, the only other advise I can give would be to replace the starter.
I don't remember the details of your original post but does the engine crank over but not start or does it not turn over until you pour water on it?
