Toyota Repair: Front wheel bearings, front wheel bearing, front wheel bearings

Question
I have a Corolla, 1994, 1.8l, no abs, 147,xxx miles, automatic transmission.

When replacing the front wheel bearings what is the torque specification for the nut holding the front wheel bearing and cv joint in place? Are their any other tip/trick I might need to know when replacing the front wheel bearings?

Answer
The torque is 159 ft/lbs, the axle bearing and the hub both need to be replaced it requires a hydraulic press to remove and install the bearing in the housing. You can remove the steering knuckle yourself if you want to save some money and then have an automotive shop replace the bearing and hub.
