Toyota Repair: 99 Camary Lights On and Fuse Replacement, daytime running lights, fuse holder

Question
2 Questions: 1) How do you disable the lights from automatically coming on when car is on? 2)The battery on my Camary went out and took out the 100A fuse. How is this replaced? Looks like a screw in fuse, but can't figure out how to open the base of the fuse box.  Replaced battery and did a quick "by pass" (with the fuse) and engine did turn over but seemed to be lacking fuel? Probably had more than one fuse go - can you point to one that might have also been affected. Thanks! 99 Camary 4 cylinder 75Kmiles

Answer
The alternator fuse is bolted to two wire connectors, the smaller box that contains the alternator fuse can  be released, look very closely and you will see the release tabs, use a small scredriver to move the tabs and pull the fuse holder up then you can unbolt the fuse, check the EFI fuse, better yet check all the fuses there are about 5 others that will always blow if the jumper battery or charger was hooked up backwards.
I believe the daytime running lights can be disabled, give me an email address and I may be able to mail the procedure to you, email me directly at tedrttr@yahoo.com and give me the information again, yr,model and your request and I can reply more quickly.
