Toyota Repair: 78 Toyota Pick Up Timing, crankshaft pulley, octane gas

I'm trying to tune up a truck I just bought but I cant find a book or repair manual that has information on what the timing mark is on my 78 Toyota Pick up.
Can you tell me?

On the timing cover should be a pointer just above the crankshaft pulley, the pulley has some notches on it, the first one to the right is zero degrees advance, as you look to the left the other notches to are eight degrees and ten degrees advanced, if you are using low octane gas set the timing to 8 degrees.
