Toyota Repair: trunk lock wont open, correct key, master key

how can you get the trunk to open when the key doen't and the lever in the front won't either . puzzled. 1993 camry le

Make sure that you are using the correct key, you should have two keys, one is the master key, which operates in all the locks and one is the valet key which only works in the ignition, are you able to lock and unlock the glove box with the key you have? If not, you are using the valet key, if it works on the glove box but not on the trunk there is a problem with the trunk lock.
If you can not open the glove box either, contact the toyota dealer, they can look up the master key code and make a new master key which will work in all the locks.
